Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

Have you ever felt like nothing’s going right in your life? Have you ever felt stuck in one place for a really long time? If you’ve felt like this, you’re not alone. You may not realise it but many people seem to have no hope at all. Don’t believe me? Consider this: have you ever watched a movie with your friends, a movie that had a happy ending, and then brushed it off saying, “yeah well, happy endings don’t happen in real life!” I’ve done this too. And after watching a movie like Avengers: Infinity War, many people said that “evil always wins”.

This post is not about criticising movies or people. But hope is real and it’s found in God.

The Bible talks about hope from beginning to end. Perhaps you don’t know many Bible verses yet. But do you have any idea what hope means? It is trusting that something good can happen despite the current circumstances.

We can all agree that our world is chaotic. That’s why it’s important to know that through Christ you can not only find but also inspire hope. One way to do this is by talking about the faith you have.

But how do you do this when you feel hopeless yourself?

Maybe you feel like God’s not really in touch with what’s going in your life or that he doesn’t care. We’ve all felt like this, but the truth is that he does care. He loves you and wants to have a real and deep relationship with you. By believing this and experiencing more of His love, you can feel motivated to talk about the hope He gives.

If you believe what the Bible says and if you’ve had experiences that encouraged you then you can tell others about those experiences. This is called giving your testimony. Why should you share your testimony? Because darkness fills the world around you. By inspiring hope, you can be a shining sun breaking through the clouds in someone’s life.

If you believe good things can happen and change the course of a life, send a message of hope to someone today.
