7 Verses to Encourage You on a Faith Adventure

Would you have the courage to go on a totally different adventure with God? Even if your answer is no I want to share  some bible verses that will encourage you to experience something new in your journey of faith.

Jesus travelled to many villages during his ministry on earth. Everywhere he went, he showed compassion and healed many people. We can follow his example today and this could bring several benefits to your life like growing in your faith.

Let’s take a look at what God says about joining him on a faith adventure:

1. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these. (John 14:12)

These words said by Jesus prove that when we choose to walk in faith we can be part of miracles. What a great experience!

2. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. (1 Corinthians 1:27)

Stop thinking you’re not good enough. Just ask him to help you daily. He is faithful and powerful to make a significant change in your life after you take a step towards him saying ‘Here am I’.

3. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

We must seek God’s presence daily in order to grow in faith. With his help we can be a light to others who are hopeless. Trust me, as you’re being used to reach others you feel truly blessed as well.

4. He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)

To go and tell others about our experience with God is something that Jesus told us to do. It’s totally worth it to obey his commands. You never feel useless when you choose to live with a purpose.

5. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2)

God will help you when challenges arise. He will never leave or forsake you.

6. How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” (Isaiah 52:7)

There’s beauty in the call. Despite the hardships you will face along the way you will please God as you persevere and share his good news.

7. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” (Matthew 4:19)

He calls you today just as he called his disciples many years ago. He will equip you to reach others.

The Voke app wants to encourage you to share hope wherever you go. Your life is not in vain – it is precious and can inspire others to live full of joy.

Or, you can think of a friend who doesn’t know Christ and use the Voke app to send them a video that challenges them to consider faith. Or perhaps you can smile or say ‘good morning’ to someone you study with. Small actions can be significant to a person who desperately needs help.

Through this journey you can become more comprehensive, more accepting, and be a motivator for this generation. And as you experience other realities you will realise that you are not the only one with problems.
